How I got here.
I'm Kevin. Computer engineering at Michigan, mostly pointed at robotics. I picked up KiCad because I wanted a thing to exist and nobody else was going to build it.
Most of what's on this page started with someone saying "can you make something that does X." A handheld controller for teaching robot arms. A cockpit board for an electric race boat. An enclosure that survives a factory washdown. I usually take the board, the firmware, and the CAD together, because handing a design off halfway is how you end up with a connector that doesn't fit.
Before any of it I made posters for arts programs and Chinatown nonprofits in Vancouver. That work is further down the page.
If I'm not in the Robotics Building lab, try the poker room, the driving range, or the bouldering gym.
